Far Cry 4 Prologue Savegame

I'm not here to complain but maybe get some help with some trouble shooting.I can't play through the prologue to the game for two reasons. After the opening scene and making my way to the jeep and crashing I run into the problem of not being able to save and quit the game.

Keeps telling me that i can't return to the menu while an auto save is in progress. Not Sure why as it is not letting me save. I do have the Latest patch and have tried multiple settings and disabling and enabling my sli settings. If someone can help that would be great. I would submit a support ticket but can't find a straight way to do so.
