I have the Code Alarm model # CA530 Remote start unit that was installed by the dealer. In the manual from code alarm it is suppose to have a 5 minute cool down timer that is activated by keeping the brake pedal pressed for an additional 5 seconds after placing the shifetr in park. It doesn't work. I asked the dealer and they said that they were told by the local installer that they had problems with this function and no longer supported it. I emailed code alarm and they said it should work fine.

Any thoughts/ideas? Would be nice to have.
